Sleep Tips
To
determine whether your pillow is providing proper support
for your neck and spinal column, perform this simple test:
fold the pillow in the middle and press down for a moment.
If the pillow springs back into shape, it's okay.

It's
best to sleep on your side in a semi fetal position. A
good mattress is important, and your pillow should be
thick enough to cover the space between the head and shoulders
so the spine stays straight. |

The
optimum pillow support comes from resting your head in
a concave depression, the edge of which supports the curve
of your neck. This can be done by scrunching up the contents
of your pillow to form the bowl-shaped indentation for
the head and an edge for the neck. |

A
pillowcase does not adequately protect your pillow from
perspiration or other possible stains. Pillow protectors
are zip-on cases that you can remove for washing as needed.
They will help to prolong the life of your pillow. |

All
pillows should be fluffed regularly. This allows the inside
of the pillow to absorb some fresh air and helps maintain
their shape. |
