Meet Corie Laraya-Coutts

Corie Laraya-Coutts, a native Filipino who now lives in Ontario, Canada, developed the Kapok Pillow. She wanted to use kapok somehow, in order to help save the rain forest in the Philippines. She also wanted to help the farmers who live in her native country. The Kapok Pillow is a fabulous solution and the first of perhaps other products utilizing the fibre, made by Laraya-Coutts' company, Desalon International.
